Volkswagen presents first concert ever of US-musical-legend Barbra Streisand in Germany

It is the musical sensation of the year: For the very first time world-famous American singer and actress Barbra Streisand will play one concert in Germany during her first ever tour of Europe. Streisand will play Berliner Waldbühne on June 30th accompanied by a 58 piece orchestra. Europe´s biggest automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen, presents this once in a life time cultural event.

Volkswagen will support the concert of the artist with a limousine-fleet, consisting of Passat BlueMotion and Polo BlueMotion to shuttle crew and guests safely, elegantly and environmentally sound - thus making an important statement to the current debate about climate protection as well as considering it as a must-have for the ecology-minded Streisand.

As the main sponsor, Volkswagen offers an exclusive ticket-sale on their webpage www.volkswagen.de. The official start of ticket sales is June 1st, when tickets will be available at all box offices and online on www.deag.de.

From June 18 until July 22, Streisand will also visit Austria, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden and England during her Europe tour. The tickets for the first show in London sold out within 20 minutes, with the second show selling out shortly after.
