The Audi quattro Cup has been
played for as many as 17 years now. It is one of the main
pillars of Audi’s golfing commitment that will be continued in
the 2008 season on a larger scale than ever. The counterpart to
the well-established quattro Cup for the ladies is the Audi
Ladies Cup, which has been staged since 1995. |
In the professional arena Audi
will be pursuing new paths in the 2008 season. Together with
Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, Audi will position a high-calibre
professional golf tournament for ladies for the first time: in
May 2008 the event that will bear the name of “HypoVereinsbank
Ladies German Open presented by Audi” will celebrate its début.
The golfing commitment will be
complemented by a co-sponsorship in the Irish Open where Audi will be
supplying the “Official Car of the Irish Open” again for the next two
years as well supplying vehicles for the shuttle services for players
and officials. As a partner of the Omega European Masters in Switzerland
Audi provides shuttle services as well.
