Change at the head of the Renault Board of Directors

Paris - At the Renault Board of Directors, Louis Schweitzer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, confirmed that he would not seek the renewal of his mandate as a Director at the Annual General Shareholders Meeting on May 6th 2009. At this point, it will be proposed to the Board of Directors an evolution concerning the governance. Carlos Ghosn would be named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and additionally to his current functions, he will become Chairman of the Board of Directors.
