PSA Peugeot Citroën's Commitment to Fuel Cell

.

On June 2, the French Hydrogen Association (AFH2), PSA Peugeot Citroën and the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) organized a press conference on hydrogen-sourced energy at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris. The event contributed to the national debate on energy and new energy solutions, against a background of steadily climbing demand and declining fossil fuel resources.

Pierre Derozier, Vice President of AFH2, discussed hydrogen as an alternate energy and announced the first European Hydrogen Energy Conference, which will be held in Grenoble, France from September 2 to 5.

Robert Peugeot, PSA Peugeot Citroën's Vice President, Innovation and Quality, presented potential hydrogen applications in the automotive industry. He reaffirmed the Group's strong commitment to fuel cell-related research, highlighting PSA Peugeot Citroën's two demonstrators, H2O and Taxi PAC.

Alain Bugat, Chairman of the CEA, reviewed the research conducted by his organization on developing economically viable commercial applications for fuel cells.
