GM & QUANTUM Enter Into Discussions To Establish A Business Relationship IRVINE, Calif. - QUANTUM Technologies, Inc. announced that it has entered into discussions with General Motors to establish a business relationship. QUANTUM is a world leader in the development of hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane (LPG) handling and advanced gaseous storage system technologies for manufacturers of fuel cell and internal combustion engines. QUANTUM Technologies, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of IMPCO Technologies, Inc.,. QUANTUM is focused on the development of enabling technologies for alternative propulsion and energy in emerging global markets. General Motors conducts fuel cell research and development through its Global Alternative Propulsion Center, employing more than 350 people at facilities in Warren, Michigan; Honeoye Falls, New York; and Mainz-Kastel, Germany. GM sees hydrogen as the best long-term strategy for its fuel cell vehicles, with a clean gasoline as the best bridging fuel until a hydrogen infrastructure can be put in place.
